Yearlings are always the worse they grow all shapes but you always need to Visualise them as a mature pony.. Their back end goes up and the front is down then the front goes up they grow all shapes, some ponies do grow quite even but not that often.
I have a yearling coming 2 in January and he is growing all shapes but I know he will turn out a good one ready for the show ring... WEll done she is looking fab! We always expect them too perfect at a small age, look at us women we never had boobs or a bum or a shape at a young age it comes with maturity and I agree that horses are the same.
SO IF ANYONE IS LOOKING TO BUY A YEARLING DON'T EXPECT TOO MUCH OUT OF THEM AT THAT AGE ITS WHEN THEY ARE 4 YOU START TO SEE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL..

lol what a wierd thort!!! well @ september and gypsy, d/w im still waiting to your not alone!
and what a pony transformation!!!! i really hope that lil harvey grows up to be like that. he is a lil sh*t at the moment he kicked me (again) yesterday!
he has his first in hand show next month, we are not expecting him to get placed we just want him to get some expeirience.
i will post some piccies of the show.
