Is this a bad idea? she would be goin down for foal in april but if i were brakin her for the cart i would start now. she is a quick learner so she could possibly be in the cart by april, hmmm wat do u guys think? am i expectin to much of her? thanx guys hannah x x x

I don't see any problem. You can start breaking her in for cart now and - indeed - she might already be used to it by april. You can then be quite for a while, bring her to a stallion and after a few months re-start the training. She shouldn't have forgotten all by then *lol* I am actually breaking in mine under saddle at the moment, whilst she is almost 6 months pregnant. We're doing it all at ease, but she loves to learn new things. The only thing, that I have heard, is that it is no good to ride the first 3 months of their pregnancy, because the foal needs to nestle well first. Good luck and take care.
