sounds interesting.... think i might have heard a couple of them somewhere before. might try the vapo rub on my boys tail, hopefully it might stop his friend from nibbling his tail. thing is though, my boy loves being turned out with the horse who likes to nibble, so cant really split them up hannah

There Brilliant. I can vouch for Baby oil ,use it for nearly every thing,it stopped my mare from losing her mane and tail from switch itch, stops my cob from scratching his heels ,cause he's a scabby git and its very cheap ;D

Hey, there are some pretty good ideas there. i have printed them off and stuck on my notice board lol! that one about the vaper rub sounds good as lady has taken to a yearling in her field and she is chewing ladys mane to peices i will defo have to give that one a try. i have tried the make ur own fly repelent using vinegar and lady turned a orangy colour in the sun and she reaked it was awful! i have heard that using the old oil from the chip pan works a treat for craced hooves and mud fever...but i think i will stick with good old sticky legs lol dont really want my horses smelling of chip pans or bacon grease lol but again sum really god ideas there! speak soon hannah x x x

hey gypsy, all the horses look stunnin but i really aint got the time, money or patients to take on another horse right now. im having a lot of trouble on my yard nd all my time is taken up sortin it all out. it got soo bad that today i actually cried infront of them and i never show my emotions! anyway im gunna be patient and wait to get my welshie x gypsy when i breed lady next year. oh by the way here is another gypsy remedie for u... if u put mustard on your horses feather and wrap them in cling film and leave it for 24 hours wash and repeat for a few more days your horses feather will almost double in size! never tried it my self but the gypsys down my way swear by it! mad eh!!! speak soon hannah x x x
