Mine is Molly ( Heoldraw Misty Pearl) and still have her to this day , would not change her as I think they have now dominated the cob in the way it shouldn't be. I like the old type and I think my mare has the old fashioned stamp, she is bred exceptionallly well and don't think I could replace her as what I perceive to being a true cob. here she is i98.photobucket.com/albums/l249/Reeswelsh/HeolDrawMistyPearl2.jpg

Mine was a dutch Welsh section K (= partbred). I never understood why she was under section K, as she was 100 % welsh blood. You can see a picture and her pedigree on www.allbreedpedigree.com/ievonI more or less grew up with her and she was my best friend during my adolescence. Unfortunately I had to put her asleep when I was about 19. I took me about 18 years before I (recently) bought another horse.

Palomino used to be my favorite colour, but somehow I am more and more prefering buckskin/dun now. Light colours don't put me off... and all depends on the horses. Ievon was almost never dirty, but my bay mare Daisy has developped a special sense for finding muddy places *lol* As soon as she's groomed and I put her out, she'll find the most muddy place in the field to roll over. I call her my 'mudmonster' Anyway... I love the grooming, so that's no problem to me. Take care, Stefan.

Hi G.R., Looking forward to see a pic of your 'Goldie'. This morning I was going through "Welsh ponies and cobs" by Wynne Davies and on page 104 I thought I saw a picture of her, but of course it wasn't. It was a picture of Revel Springsong. It amazes me how similar het looked to her. Have a nice week-end, Stefan.

I got my first at the age of just over 40 ish lol. Only got her on christmas eve last year and lover her to pieces. Once I have worked out to put her piccy on you will be able to see her. However she is a chestnut with a white blaze. She has a thick multicoloured tail with a blue black colour which runs through the middle of it. She is lovely but that is just my opinion!! lol

my first pony was on loan and she was an ex-riding school pony. she was a 13.1hh bay thoroughbred x new forest, and got her when she was about 28. she was a complete monster to rug up and work around her back legs, she would bite and kick (and still does!), but she taught me a lot. Still love her to bits and shes still around to keep me on my toes when im working around her! all your first ponies are sweet, they always are! hannah xxx
