Those pictures are from the british futurity championships. He made us really proud that day. It was his choice to do the jumps he wasn't meant to at the time. It was friday the 13th that he had to be put down, so we believe in bad luck now. He managed to break his hock in the horse walker. The most freakish accident possible. When he did something he went all out!!! We'll always miss him but we have found humour in some of his all time classic antics.

hi ev1 Im Tania from blackpool in lancashire. Im 25 and have had ponies for as long as i can remember! I currently have two - a gorgeous 6yr old section d gelding (im bias!) called fred, AKA Ellington shining example. I've had him a year and love him to bits coz he's such a character (aren't they all!) When i bought him he was broken but not very well schooled - it was like riding a plank of wood! But i've brought him on slowly over the winter and he's now ready to go under saddle this show season, i cant wait ;D I also have a 19yr old section b mare 'Pudsey'. My mum bought her for me when i was 9 (pudsey was a crazy unbroken, unhandled 2yr old) but we gained her trust, broke her in and she turned out to be the most fantastic pony a child could ever hope for... and she's still going now! I also have two dogs - a 2yr old jackrussell called Jack (lmao) and a 1yr old puggle called Tia. Both enjoy frequent rides on Pudsey hehe Well i think i've probably bored you all enough with my babble lol. So bye for now Tania xxx

Hello, My Name is Ally and I have just discovered this forum. I had a Welsh Sec D mare with Nebo lines but unfortunately she passed away last year. She was the pony of a lifetime and I miss her everyday. I am currently on a search for a new best equine friend. I am looking at Sec D's - I think that once you have had one nothing else will do! haha.

Hi everyone My name is Kylie. I currently don't own a horse, but after working at a Sec D stud over the summer I am hooked on the breed and I can't wait to have one of my own! I currently own 2 ferrets and 2 rabbits. I also ride for my neighbour who has 3 sport horses, a highland mare, and a little foal. I joined so I could chat to Welsh Cob owners and hopefully share my future horse with you all

Hi I'm Zoe. I have a 5 year old Welsh Sec D gelding who I bought from Leominster sale in August 2010. His sire is Llanarth Welsh Flyer. He was a real handful when I first got him because he'd only just been gelded, couldn't lead without being dragged down the drive, bit me all the time, climbed fences to mount mares in other fields and was really agressive. As a last resort I turned to Parelli / NH (only for groundwork) and he is like a different horse, sweet, gentle, willing, not biting, lets me pick all four feet out, and today he jumped the biggest jump for him so far, 2'6" upright. I'm going to do a bit of everything with him (David Broomes is only just down the road) and probably will start doing BE 80's in the early summer, fingers crossed. May even have a go at this showing lark!
