nearly the proud owner of a gypsy cob...

Hey guys,
first id like to say thanx for your support over the past few days, im feelin alot better today.
i went to a sale a yesterday mornin, thought id try and take my mind off things like.
i was walkin around the barn lookin at these horses, some of them didnt even look old enough to be away from their mother, it was horrible to see such beautiful animals in such a poor state.
i saw a gathering of people on the otherside of the barn and went to take a look at what was going on.
in this pen stood a gypsy cob stallion and straight away i new i had to have him, he was lush and sooo placid.
after getting the ok from my mum and dad i went into the ring to start bidding. i had the highest bid and right at the end someone (a dealer) placed a bid that i couldnt meet. i went crazy, i was so emotional yesterday i just broke down into tears. anyway i still got lady and minty, and hopefully soon lady will have a baby of her own. im gunna use gypsy's georgous stallion, geronimo! ;D

hi that would have been a nice horse to have (get some foals of lady, lol) hope ur ok
every wednesday theres a horse market on called beston market (well know) it sells loads of horse stuff and theres a big augtion of horses but when people dont bid for some horses the meat men start biding, they started biding on too donkeys so my friend Fi bid on them and won them, they are so funny but very naughty.
once the meat man was loading a 13.3hh TB x cob (i think) it was scared to go on the box so everyone got around it (poor thing, but the men dont care), as they pushed it, one man had hold of this tail the other his head and the foal fell of the side the man let go of his head and the man kept hold of his tail, JUST BROKE IN HALF i feltreally sorry for the foal, so i told my friend (hes a dealer) to buy him of the meat man, so he did knowing no1 will buy him with a broken tail but he now uses him in his riding school, iam so glad,
