My all-time favorite is Pentre Eidwen Comet (= Nebo Black Magic's sire) But - since you also have a post on about what age to start breeding - I think, your question might be about more recent stallions. You can find a lot of stallions on www.welshwelshcobs.com/ultimatestudguide.cfm this site is fairly up-to-date. If you are looking for a stallion to breed to your mare, you first have to look what "faults" your mare has and then you try to find a stallion that is very good on those points. If possible, it is also very interesting to look at progeny of the stallion. So that you can see what he passes on. Of course never forget then out of what mares the progeny is. Because - how good the stallion may be - the mare has also a very important roll in how the foal will be. Some people tend to forget that.

my favorite stallions are derwen railway express and ebbw victor and guess what I have at home bred by me. whalley annabelle by derwen railway express out of caerllwyn ann by ebbw victor. 3yrs black, star 4 even socks and stunning beautiful head and cheeky temperament. now broken to ride but got no rider for her.I finally breed what I like and now can't ride due to a back problem. It's always the way isn't it?? my picture in my avtar is her at the beach a couple of weeks ago. naughty me on board. (i'm nearly 60 with degenerative disc disease) Hush don't tell my doctor!!!!

Hello everyone Im new! The best Cob stallion in my opinion is mine!! I really like his bloodlines and especially Glanvyrnwy Coming King. Take a look at my website, look under stallions; he is Wilderswood Stormydd. Have a look at his progeny and let me know everyone what you think!

Hiya, my boy Merlyns sire is Torymynydd Welsh Gamboller .. Hes not the most amazingly stunning cob but hes something special, for a stallion of 20 yrs hes very showy and has an amazing trot along with his gr8 lines. My new girls sire is Ebbw Taran, hes a bit of a new boy and is absolutely stunning. Ive met him a couple of times ane hes very nice natured for a fizzy young welsh stallion! There are definately 2 classy stallions. x
