Hiya guys, im thinking of putting my blue and white 13.1hh connemara x irish cob mare on loan as she isn't doing much atm, just sat in a field most days. Molly has a lovely jump & is very fast x-country. She will ALWAYS try her best for you and could keep going for days. Im not too big for Molly, but i do need something a bit bigger. She really is a 1 in a million pony!
I'm 15 in July, but ride older, i have ridden many VERY strong & VERY green horses & ponies, also have broken in 6 ponies and 2 horses. I've ridden the 2 strongest welsh d's on the yard when i was at a livery yard, and somehow managed 2 always be able to control them. I love welsh d's & would love to loan another 1, i used to loan a 14hh 26yr old section d(shes one of the strongest on the yard), who never wanted to stop & always ran out at jumps, after about 6weeks, we were flying round 3ft courses with full brakes & never stopping at a fence. 1 of the irish cobs that i used to ride, used to fly over 2ft6 fences & jump almost as high as the 4ft6 wing & i stayed on all the time. All my horses have been very strong & had hardly any schooling, after a while of being ridden by me, they have all gone on to be show jumpers & show horses/ponies.
I'm looking for a horse/pony to do show jumping, x-country, showing & possibly hunting in the winter. My current pony Molly, is very strong willed & will stop when she wants to stop whilst x-country, i was going to take her hunting this winter, but she was chased by a dog a while back so now is quite nervous when hacking with dogs, so this isn't a very good thing for hunting.
I would prefer a section d, possibly a gelding but don't mind a mare, don't mind if the horse is spooky/stupid when hacking alone, but must be safe. Would like the horse to have some jumping experiance behind it, but don't mind just as long as he/she is capable of jumping. We would be doing mostly x-country & fun/sponsered rides, but i do alot of shows every year so would be lovely if the horse is a show quality welsh d. We would be doing most of our x-country & rides with another section d(see Kekezza Mystic Merlyn), or 2 irish cobs(1 hogged and lightweight and the other with lots of mane & forelock who is a middleweight), would be lovely if the horse is a section d who's been taught extended trot lol but i really don't care about that.
If the horse is not a section d, i don't mind, but must be show quality, be able to jump & do x-country. Don't mind what colour, height or age, but must be between 13.3hh & 14.3hh & between the age of 5 & 10.
The horse would be kept at our small family yard in the fareham area, or at a friends yard in the same road but a bit further down it. Could maybe get a place at a yard again in the same road but the owner prefers to only have 3 there and theres already 3 there. None of these yards have a sand school, but have lovely hacking close by & have a schooling paddock/field. If the horse/pony is kept at our own small yard, it would live with our 2yr old gelding(out of Molly). He's very friendly and just wants too play, but if he's told not to do something by another horse, he'll stop. Not a nasty boy, but does have a thing with jumping the fence into the schooling paddock, does'nt brake the fence so not dangerous for the other horse.
We will travel to see the horse(we would go as far as west sussex but no further unless the horse is really something special and is a possibility of gettin it).
If you have a horse for loan and are in the hampshir/west sussex area, please leave a comment & i'll get back to you!
!*REMEMBER, IF YOU HAVE A D FOR FULL LOAN, PLEASE GET BACK TO ME ASAP AS I WOULD ALMOST DEFINATELY COME AND MEET HIM/HER & SEE IF WE GET ON*!
