STOLEN FILLYS

IF ANYONE HAS BOUGHT A BLACK & WHITE FILLY RECENTLY - 2 YEAR OLD LOVELY QUALITY FILLY OR A BAY COB FILLY - 3 YEAR THESE ARE REGISTERED ANIMALS . PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP. THESE HORSES HAVE BEEN STOLEN FROM GILWERN IN SOUTH WALES FROM A FIELD, WE BELIEVE THE PERSON WHO HAS STOLEN THEM MAY BE A ROAD WORKER ETC .THEY WERE STOLEN ABOUT 4 WEEKS. WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAS BOUGHT THESE ANIMALS.

Have you any pictures? Brecon sale is on this week (Fri) FMD allowing, and I'm probably going - would be great to have pictures/more description to check out for you. I'm close by in Brecon - if you want posters put up in Hay and Brecon Farmers or given to the local riding centres - you are welcome to e-mail them to me [e-mail]

I really hope they are recovered really soon.

I have asked my friend to locate photos i know the bay filly has a blemish of some kind on one of her front legs. Don't think they will be going through the sales as they need a passports, however someone might have the cheek to sell them in the car parks around the sales etc. Many thanks i'll be in touch

It's no problem to get new passports!!

I wouldn't count on that not happening- the passport system does nothing to prevent theft.

Hope you find them ,ditto what fizzbw says though I go to horse sales all the time and they issue passports at the sales before they go through.But I have everything cross in hoping they are found soon,it's just so awful

Thanks everyone they are not mine they are my friends, he is trying to dig out photos when they were yearlings so at least you'll get an idea of their markings .

The one is now 2 and the other is 3 .
