Sorry, that I only reply now. I've spent more time at the stable yesterday and today then I did at home/work. Thank you all for your kind words. They are both doing fine. Daisy is a very good mum. A bit too over-protective maybe. She even bit me today  , but bless her she's only trying to be a good mum Epona (that's how we call her - although her studbook name will be Dame Heather) is a strong, vivid filly, who drinks a lot. They've both been out in the field for an hour tonight and I am under the impression that it relaxed Daisy a bit (she's not realy used to being in her box during daytime). Now... who was right in 'my competition'. I guess nobody was realy 100 % correct, but - I think - September was closest. Anyway... I have decided that there are no winners or losers... Each of you who has guessed, is a winner. If you send me a pm with your address, where to send the price to, you will all get a little present ;D (Minors please ask permission to their parents first. I have no bad intentions at all, but - being a parent myself - I would prefer to my kids do this aswell). Greetz, Stefan. |

P.S.
Daisy and Epona are both in good health.
The only thing that's worrying me a bit, is that Daisy is not into season yet. Her foal is now 11 days old. So, she should be by now. Maybe the premature birth has something to do with it. We'll see...
