It was the first open show of the season and I decided to take Senna.It was he's first ridden show as he's only done abit of inhand showing so I didn't know what to expect.The games classes don't start until the afternoon so we had plenty of time to get there.Good job as it's an hour and a half walk  Here he is before we set out  We waited a couple of hours then it was our class,we were jammy as there was only one other person in it and she's brilliant at games.Bless Senna he was a bit bewildered ,when the whistle blew he just stood there and when the other ponies galloped past he looked so shocked but he behaved himself and we completed all the games at a walk/trot,so couldn't be more pleased with him. Here he is on the line  and after all the games  he still looks abit bewildered but it was a smashing day ,everyone was in a good mood and the sun was shining ;D |

he looks fab september, love the pic of him in his little rug ;D well done ;D i used to ride a cob mare and i took her to what was probably her first show inhand and ridden. we did games at the end and she didnt know what to do with herself ;D she soon got the hang of it, the slowest walk was the funniest race, she didnt know whether she should go forwards, backwards, sideways or up in the air ;D. at our second show together she had the hang of it ;D hannah x |

Awww thanks everyone, he is turning into a cutie. RosieHannah-I know what you mean,I love it when you bring them on and see their confidence grow but then they get too clever .LoL. Welshgurl-I think he did have fun.At first he seemed abit shocked but yesterday I think he realised what a good boy he'd been.He seems alot more confident in himself :)It's done him a world of good. Lotte-Yep we got 4 blue rosettes and a trophy ,LoL as there were only two of us in the same class(there was 3 of us doing the games together.The girl on the other grey was the only one in her class!)Nobody seems to like doing games anymore  . I forgot to take a piccy of him with his rosettes on but we walked all the way home wearing them with pride(even though we skanked them rearly ;D I can't wait to do them again on him but I've got to wait until June for the next open (it's to long a walk to do it every/twice a month ) but gives us time to practice  |

yeah its great to see them get more confidence ;D im having fun with my boy at the mo getting him to hack out alone again as he hasnt done it since ive been riding him. weve done it twice now, just picking the right days to do it when hes sane enough lol ;D

Awww thanks again His back boots are the ones I made for him, for hacking on the roads.They're fluorescent yellow with iridescent strips.Not that you can tell from the photos. Don't get me started with his mane Lol. It's thin at the bottom and so thick at the top, it all goes forward over his forelock.LoL I just can't win. You can't see it on the piccies but I put some of that sparkle glitter stuff in his mane and tail.I know it's 'babyish' but I couldn't resist and it looked so cute  |

lol same with my boys, only he had a little 'help' making the bottom thin from one of his friends lol  i have a selection of glitter products for my boy at home lol ;D he reckons he looks like a GIRL though lol ;D thas a good idea making your own boots lol ;D hannah xxx |

Looking at the boots in the shops,I thought they were too expensive for what they were,and most didn't have alot of fluorescant/iridescent anything on them,so I thought I'd make my own Aww thats great ;D I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves glitter on they ponies,even if they are boys Lol . I want some of that hoof glitter next LoL,the silver one I think |

lol i have the hoof glitter too, in silver. my boy has purple brushing boots, numnah and other sort of girly colours lol ;D latest edition is baby blue brushing boots lol the boys have to look just as good as the girls lol ;D i have a pic of him in his xmas glitter somewhere lol... hannah xxx |
