I have recently broken my 13hh section B colt, but i am struggling to find a bridle to fit him. I dont want to have to pay through the nose to have anything made. He is currently wearing a standard pony size with the straps all done up as short as possibe and this is a little loose. Who sells quality tack for ponies? please let me know.

Hello,I had the same trouble with my sec A and his head is adverage for his breed.I brought him a sabre show pony bridle(2nd hand)It is gorgous and really complements his head,If you google sabre bridle you can get their size chart up.Another company that specialise in ponies is microponies but don't know if their expansive or not oh my morris and nolan inhand bridle fits him perfect to.Bet your boys got a little head than my section A :)I'd love to see some piccies

u could try robinsons, they have their sale on at the moment so you might be able to find something on there for a good price. you could also try ebay, bought a rug from someone on there for my old pony who we lost recently, and was pleased.

ponies are great fun to ride, so many people frown upon adults riding ponies, its like you need a horse as a status symbol. Im 5'10'' (but used to be very skinny) and rode a 13.3hh welsh part bred and we had great fun together, despit being laughed at by my friends! I had bigger horses in the yard but found them lazy compared to my pony. unfortunately after settling down with a family i became too heavy for her so had to sell her. i love my 16hh mare but i do miss riding my pony she was much more nippy and a better height for opening gates, its also not so far to fall!!

G.R.-Wow you and Tetris most of been really good to do ppc games even if you did get chucked out, which I think is so cool )I only do stuff locally.DO you think it's a grey 13.2hh thing, that most of them are abit crazy,I've read about loads that are crazy, look similar ,grey and 13.2hh.lol I'm quite lucky at my local show most of the adults are on ponies,so I've never been frown upon(well not that i know of ,lol)

IV Horse used to make some smashing small bridles, but not sure if they still do? Fylde saddlery are also quite good, but I think that they are quite expensive. I'm 5'6 and I ride a 12hh grey dartmoor, who's quite happy to mess about and attempt to put me on the floor! His bridle is a jeffries. And before that I rode his dad who's just shy of 11.3hh and we did really well at national shows! Sorry for putting a dartie on! but he's my lil baby! ;D
